The Minotaur:Famous Bullman

Hey another bullman. What does that mean? He/it was part man, part bull. Dwels at the center of the Labyrinth which was an elaborate maze like structure built by Daedalus. Guess who killed him? Hercules you might say. You are wrong. He was killed by the athenian hero Theseus.

Hail Hydra!

A seven headed dragon. Done. No more descriptions. This beast is too bad-ass. Furthermore, it was killed by Heracles(not again!)

This has nothing to do with greek mythology but.....

Manticore

Chimera's archenemy, the Manticore. I have no information about this monster in greek mythology stories but I do know that it is a monster with a head and a body of a lion, tail of a scorpion and wings of a bat. Looks fierce.

Chimera

A monstrous fire breathing creature composed of three animals, a lion, a serpent and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, a goat arising from it's back and a serpent for a tail. The chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and siblings of Cerberus and the 7-headed Hydra.

The End of Cronus the Titan

Long ago, In a time when the world was still ruled by Uranus, It was total chaos and destruction. Uranus was the worst ruler of the universe. His son Cronus hated him. He devised a plan to kill him. One day, when Uranus was asleep. He took out his sickle and sliced up his father into a million pieces and threw him in tartatus. He then took his throne as the ruler of the universe.
You would think he was a good ruler. You’re wrong. He was far worse than Uranus. He had a lot of children like the gods you know today like Zeus and Poseidon but he also had this one child who was weak but very wise. His name was Chiron, He was born a grown man. But he wasn’t all man. He was actually the first ever centaur. Half man, half horse. Cronus was ashamed of him so instead of eating him like what he did to the gods, He banished him into the far away lands.
Chiron pleaded Cronus to give him his sickle to use as protection from the outside world. Cronus boringly agrees since he has no use of the sickle. Chiron then used the sicle against his father slashing his stomach. Out came one of Cronus children from his stomach but the wound quickly healed so the child was the only one who got out. Chiron quickly wrapped the baby in a piece of cloth and ran safely away from Cronus palace. He went into a cave and raised the child as one of his own and called her, Artemis.
Several years later, Artemis was fully grown and ready for battle. Chiron told her that he was actually his brother and that they were immortal. Artemis then told him that she had a dream about one of the children of Cronus named Zeus also escaped his father and was somewhere far away training and raised by a few nymphs. They set out a journey to find this so called Zeus. When they finally found him, they were amazed of his powers. Zeus was a strong and powerful man. He could order the sky to give him some thunderbolt which he can use to destroy mountains. They asked him to accompany them in their quest to free their brothers and sisters inside Cronus by making him sick so he could vomit them out. Zeus thought the plan was disgusting but he agreed.
Chiron called upon his brothers, the centaurs to rally Cronus’ fortress. In the end Chiron using his sickle, Artemis used her trusty bow and Zeus used his powerful thunderbolts and they ripped apart their father’s stomach and all of his children came out and they all became Olympians. Chiron, however wanted to live his immortal life training the children of the gods so one day they could vanquish evil if the gods needed them.

Orthrus: Cerberus' Not-So-Cool Brother

Orthrus is a two-headed dog. He is the brother of the three-headed Cerberus. He was owned by the three bodied Geryon. So many numbers! Hercules killed Orthrus and Geryon before taking the red cattles that they were guarding. Crazy bastard.

Cerberus: Hades' Three-Headed Rottweiler

Cerberus is the guard dog of the gates of the underworld. It prevents those who have crossed the river styx from ever escaping. The most bad-ass dog in the world, it is one of the offsprings of Echidna, a hybrid half-woman and half-serpent, and Typhon, a fire-breathing giant whom even the Greek gods feared. Hercules'' final labour was capturing Cerberus without using any weapons. Guess how hard would that be?

Achelous- The Bullman

Achelous doesn't actually look like a minotaur but this was the only (appropriate) picture I can find. He wanted Deinara (hercules second wife) but Hercules fought him and took his left/right horn. Deinara prefered a crazy but muscular hero than a good but ugly bullman.

Prometheus Short Story

Prometheus’ Revenge against Zeus”

When Heracles freed Prometheus from his torment, by killing the eagle that eats his liver and breaking his chains, Prometheus thanked him very much. But when Heracles turned his back, Prometheus got a big boulder and smashed it into Heracles head, knocking him out. He took Heracles sword and his Nemean Lion armor. Prometheus then planned his revenge against Zeus by using the Aegis shield to turn him into stone. He was very angry at Zeus.
Luckily, Achelous(the river god) was nearby. Prometheus asked him where Mount Olympus is. Achelous didn’t want to help him and tried drowning him in the river but when he heard Prometheus knocked out Heracles, the hero who took his left horn as a prize, he gladly agreed. He said to trick Aphrodite into telling him by making her fall in love with the handsome hero Endomyion, who is in an eternal slumber thanks to Zeus. Prometheus offered Heracles’ Nemean Lion armor in exchange for his daughters, the sirens. Achelous happily approved of this and gave him 3 of his daughters the sirens and a horn that imitates the sirens voices called the siren’s horn.
Mt. Latmus was not very far away. He found Endomyion sleeping like a hibernating bear in the winter. Prometheus ordered the sirens to sing loudly to wake up Endomyion with their beautiful voices. Endomyion didn’t even move a muscle. Prometheus got angry and threw Endomyion’s body in the water and told the sirens to sing again. Endomyion finally woke up with a gasp and was searching for the surface since he was underwater. 2 days later when the sirens have finally done their part of the deal, thanked Prometheus and went off into the ocean to drown sailors, Endomyion agreed with Prometheus plan because he was also angry at Zeus for putting him into an eternal sleep.
Prometheus threw a message in a bottle in the ocean hoping Poseidon will give it to Aphrodite. Poseidon read the letter and due to his hatred with Zeus and Athena, gladly gives it to Aphrodite. Aphrodite falls in love with Endomyion and follows what the message says. She stole Athena’s Aegis shield while she is asleep and went off to find Endomyion. Endomyion asked her where Mt. Olympus is and asked if he could “borrow” Athena’s shield. Aphrodite gladly agrees and gives the location of Mt. Olympus and gives them the shield. She then founds out that Selene(titan of the moon) is already in a relationship with Endomyion. Aphrodite was heartbroken at first but she was happy afterwards when she realized the love between Endomyion and Selene. She made Endomyion immortal. Endomyion and Prometheus thanked Aphrodite very much.
Prometheus successfully climbs Mt. Olympus because he is either very wise or a good mountain climber. Zeus happens to be in the throne room alone. Prometheus blew his sirens horn which lured Zeus out of the room. Prometheus then showed the Aegis shield into Zeus eyes. Then Prometheus wasn’t actually very wise at all. Medusa’s “turn people into stone” power only works on mortals. Zeus didn’t even flinch but he wasn’t angry either. He was very impressed with Prometheus awesome plan. He asked for forgiveness for tying him into a rock and sending an eagle to eat his liver and he made Prometheus the god of knowledge, wisdom and revenge. Prometheus was very happy and thanked Zeus for his kindness. He lived his immortal life in peace. THE END.
